ABD applicants that are accepted into the program are required to have at minimum 28 credits.
Admission standards for graduate studies at California Baptist University can be found in the admissions section of the university catalog. In addition, each candidate must meet the following requirements for this program:
• In place of a written statement of purpose, write a professional essay addressing the following:
• Please describe why you chose the DBA program and be sure to cite specific experiences and examples
• Please explain why it is important for you to study at CBU
• Please share your career goals and why you believe the DBA program will assist you in reaching those goals
Admission standards for ABD applicants involve the following:
Submission of complete transcripts demonstrating ABD status from an accredited institution
Submission of the program description for which the applicant is holding the ABD status
Interview with the Director of the DBA program
All But Dissertation applicants will be given consideration to enter the program exempt from completing the core courses (28 credits). Acceptance will be based upon the Director’s review of the student's transcript, a review of the candidate's previous program, confirmation of ABD status, and an interview with the Director.
